Owing to the pandemic, the year 2020 saw a rise in remote workers. Earlier, working from home was a possibility but now it had turned to a necessity. However, how does hospitality and management accommodate remote workers? It is evident that the tourism sector alone had incurred a huge loss due to lack of demand during the lockdown and will take a while for things to fall into place. However, the year has opened scopes for remote workers who can now work alternatively from homes and coffee shops as these jobs mainly deal with the maintenance and supervision of data. There are also increased instances of people working remotely while they are taking official trips to places, meeting the clients and working from their hotel rooms in conjunction. Therefore, the hotel we will provide will accommodate facilities like a reliable Wi-Fi connection, organised and quieter surroundings that are suitable for the workers. 
Working remotely from hotels has health benefits because in most cases it is seen that a change of environment minimizes the stress in which an ordinary employee usually functions. A weekend getaway can lower the risk of a heart attack up to 30 percent in males and 50 percent in females. The controlled stress level will also keep a check on the blood pressure increasing the average lifespan. Therefore, it is recommended that people who are constantly working and cannot afford to stay away from work can alternatively work from offices and remotely from a holiday destination. 
In 2021, more companies are allowing their employees to pursue work from home and this is enabling the employees to enjoy the flexibility at work where they can send in the complete file from their desired location. This has introduced a new set of customers apart from people with families or couples who avail resorts and hotels. This third type of customers enjoy simpler and quick vacations, occasionally working. So, there arises a need for spaces that are more controlled with a regulated environment and ample conference rooms. 
More hotels are making amends to accommodate remote workers and researchers as a lot of these people are preferring to work from resorts in short intervals because a new scenery helps them think more creatively. It gives them a scope to implement more practical measures in their field of work. A flexible working environment also lessens anxiety, anger issues and allows the work to be done in a compact manner. 
2020 was a financially critical year and it is therefore relevant to modify the sector of hospitality to suit the current demands of the people so that there is enriched interdependence between the customer and the provider. This will help to regain the economic equilibrium. It is significant to analyse the changes in the requirements of the customers due to the effect of the pandemic because this will make sure that we are able to cater to these newer demands efficiently. This also helps in categorising different types of customers and being more specific to their claims.
A vacation helps the employee enhance their performance. A lot of workplaces are now sending employees to take shorter trips so that they can detox from the stress of a doubled workload. We collaboratively believe that this will ultimately go on to develop a sustainable work environment. Bosses get opportunities to interact with subordinates in office trips and build amicable professional relationships. This cuts the tension between the employee and the employer and contributes to improve the mental health of everyone involved in the process.
