Owing to the pandemic, the year 2020 saw a rise in remote workers. Earlier, working from home was a possibility but now it had turned to a necessity. However, how does hospitality and management accommodate remote workers? It is evident that the tourism sector alone had incurred a huge loss due to lack of demand during the lockdown and will take a while for things to fall into place. However, the year has opened scopes for remote workers who can now work alternatively from homes and coffee shops as these jobs mainly deal with the maintenance and supervision of data. There are also increased instances of people working remotely while they are taking official trips to places, meeting the clients and working from their hotel rooms in conjunction.
